Mesa Bench

A reworking of the Mesa Daybed in smaller proportion, suited as a hallway of end of bed piece.

Exposed half lap joins on the corners and bridle joints on the legs accentuate the rich grain in the timber, while heavy leather cord, painstakingly tacked to the frame with traditional brass pins, provides strong, yet comfortable and forgiving support. Leather panels are carefully selected from the skins, then cut and prepared by hand before being sewn, fitted to the cushion and tufted with matching or contrasting leather buttons, offering an elegant counterpoint, sitting above the frame in reference to iconic midcentury modern daybeds.

Leather: British fallow deer suede, tumbled nubuck or olive-tanned leathers
