Customer Warranty
At Otzi, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our handmade furniture. To ensure your satisfaction, we offer a limited warranty on our products under the terms and conditions described below.
- Warranty Coverage
- This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of delivery.
- This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
- This warranty covers issues which may affect the integrity and function of the furniture.
- Exclusions
- This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to scratches, scuffs, and fading.
- Damage resulting from improper care, misuse, or accidents, including exposure to excessive moisture, heat, direct sunlight, or harsh chemicals.
- Changes in natural materials over time (e.g., slight colour changes in wood or leather due to natural ageing).
- Variations in colour, texture, and natural markings in materials such as wood and leather, which are characteristics of handcrafted furniture.
- Modifications, repairs, or alterations made by anyone other than Otzi.
- This warranty does not cover:
- Warranty Claims
- If you believe your item is eligible for a warranty claim, please contact us at studio@otzi.ltd within 30 days of noticing the issue.
- To process your claim, we will require:
- Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation);
- Photographs and a detailed description of the issue.
- After assessing your claim, we will determine the appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement, or refund, at our discretion.
- Resolution Options
- Repair: We will repair the defect if feasible. For items within the UK, we may arrange for an in-home repair or arrange for the item to be returned to our workshop. For international customers, repair arrangements may vary.
- Replacement: If repair is not possible, we may replace the item with the same model. If the model is discontinued, we may offer a similar product of equal value.
- Refund: In cases where repair or replacement is not feasible, a partial or full refund may be issued, at our discretion.
- Limitations of Liability
- Otzi is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.
- Our liability is limited to the replacement, repair, or refund of the product under this warranty. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
