Pithos Laundry Basket

The Pithos laundry basket pushes the limits of traditional leather crafting, using a single side of oak bark tanned bridle leather for its construction.

The large panels are carefully hand skived, hand saddle stitched and laced. We machine the lids from furniture grade solid cork and hand-turned characterful timber handles add a tactile feel and material contrast. The combination of leather and cork creates a functional, stylish piece for the laundry room.
