Seron Woven Basket

The Seron Basket explores the intersection of fine woodworking and heavy harness craft. Anchored by a unique solid timber top frame, which is meticulously joined with structural dovetail keys, the body of the basket is crafted from Tuscan vegetable-tanned leather, available in either a tactile wide weave or clean solid panels. The leather is secured directly into the timber frame using hand-driven brass tacks. Built to withstand the rigours of daily use, the double-thickness leather base is heavily stitched on a traditional harness machine, ensuring lasting durability and a beautiful, weighted foundation. Handles are wrapped in oak bark tanned leather lace.
