Taper Side Table

In our Taper side table we set out to showcase the craft of traditional leatherwork.

A solid, turned poplar base is covered in a sleeve that is entirely hand made, from the careful skiving to the rigorous hand stitching and lacing . The table top is made from beautifully figured boards of locally sourced hardwood timbers, oiled as shown or scorched; these ash tops are torched and scoured before being polished with natural beeswax. It can be configured in a wide range of leather and timber combinations to suit any interior.

Leather: Oak bark tanned bridle leather

Colours: Charcoal Black, Natural Russet, London Tan, Australian Nut, Midnight Blue, Kelp Green

Top: Solid native timbers

Ash, sycamore, London plane, elm, oak, fumed oak or walnut

Standard dimensions: Diameter 75cm x H 75cm

Small side table dimensions: Diameter 50cm x H 60cm
