The New Craftsmen

Showcasing what can be done when you add an innovative leather feature.

For this special commission from The New Craftsmen, we worked with pre-eminent UK furniture designer, Sue Skeen. Working with her designs, Otis developed the leatherwork on the collection, Common Parts, which set out to showcase traditional skills of makers from the British Isles.

The pieces included hand saddle stitched sections of bridle leather wrapped around solid timber sections, vegetable tanned leather seat cushions and a large magazine holder.
